Paradigm Capital was founded in July 2001 and remains a privately held investment advisory company.
Paradigm Capital is the manager of the Paradigm Capital Value Fund SICAV. The Fund is a Luxembourg based SICAV with institutional and professional investors. The manager follows a dedicated specialized value investing strategy, in the Graham and Dodd tradition, making investments within the European Union with a focus on the Nordic and German speaking countries, and the U.K.
The investment philosophy includes four main principles:
- A focus on mispriced securities in the small- and mid-cap space within the limited geography of German speaking, Nordic, and UK markets
- A concentrated portfolio
- Hedging of the portfolio through non-equity investments and derivatives
- Deep fundamental research
